Getting the right glove fit is crucial for comfort, performance, and durability. Follow these simple steps to ensure your Gnartisan Goods gloves fit you perfectly.
Step 1: Measure Your Hand
You will need a flexible measuring tape (a fabric one is ideal).
- Hand Circumference: Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your palm, just below your knuckles, excluding your thumb. Make sure the tape is snug but not tight. This is your hand circumference measurement.
-
Hand Length: Measure from the base of your palm (where your wrist meets your hand) to the tip of your middle finger.
Step 2: Refer to Our Sizing Chart
Once you have your measurements, find your size on the chart below. If your measurements fall between sizes, we generally recommend sizing up for a more comfortable fit, or down for a tighter, more performance-oriented fit, depending on your preference and the glove's intended use.
Step 3: Check Your Fit
Once you receive your gloves, try them on and ensure they meet these criteria:
-
Snug, but not restrictive: The gloves should fit snugly around your fingers and palm without feeling overly tight or cutting off circulation.
-
No excess material at fingertips: Your fingertips should reach the ends of the glove fingers without much extra material. Too much excess can reduce dexterity.
-
Comfortable thumb placement: The thumb should fit comfortably without pulling or bunching.
-
Full range of motion: You should be able to make a fist and move your fingers freely without significant resistance from the glove material.
Pro Tip for Glove Care:
Proper fit also extends the life of your gloves! Gloves that are too small can stretch and wear out faster, while gloves that are too large can bunch up and cause discomfort or blisters.
